We are a small home based Western Ranch based at the foothills of the Blue Mountains in NSW that pride ourselves on professionalism, personal care & attention of every animal on the property as if they were our own. They get treated like part of our family as this is the type of care that we would expect if someone were to care for our beloved pets.

 

We only have a limited number of placements available to ensure that every single animal is treated with utmost care.

 

We have a farrier & chiropractor onsite every 6 weeks, a worming rotation every 8 weeks, a dentist annually – unless required & a vet on call 24/7

 

Our routine is AM : Feed of hay, Fly masks on, rugs off, fresh water – PM : Hard feed, fly maks off, rugs on, water topped up if required.

 

All fencing has just been updated & is individual paddocks with two strip electrical braid, for ultimate protection against harm to themselves or their neigh-bour !

 

Paddocks are cleaned with each worming rotation, to ensure paddock quality. 

 

All horses have their own feeders, no sharing NO MATTER WHAT ! All feeders are cleaned & sanitized before a new horse utilizes them & upkeep of cleaning is always in sync with the worming rotation.

 

We only have separate paddocks available for our visitor horses, but they are certainly not ‘yards’ by any stretch of the imagination. They are all large free paddocks (we don’t like to yard horses as we believe in them still being able to run about, stretch, frolic & be a horse !)

 

Paddock horses have their own tyre feeder so that no feed goes directly onto the ground.

 

Water tubs are shared between two horses only at a time & are cleaned out & scrubbed every second day.

 

We live on site & there is always someone here 24/7. The horses live close to the residences so that we can always hear if something is amiss.
